Really, Mother Nature?

This is what we woke up to this morning...

We went to bed with "School tomorrow?"  Maybe, maybe not?

Just enough snow to be a MAYBE NOT, no school!

The kids don't seem to care that every snow day adds one more day to the end of the school year.

These pictures are all taken in my pjs, with coffee in hand and just one foot out the door.

I'm not a cold weather person....I'm ready for this ~

  1. We are lovin' it! Not so much though, the chickens; they are all huddled in their coop. Although I must admit, that beach scene is looking pretty good:)

  4. It IS beautiful! Here in Texas we are having spring weather....complete with a little rain. The elm tree that towers over our gazebo is budding out and there is a whole symphony of bird song filling the air. Texas had its share of winter...but it is gone now!
I love your patio area by the water fountain...with the chairs and ..is that a firepit in the center? Hopefuly your winter will not last much longer and you will be sitting out THERE with your camera and cup of coffee!

Here in Alabama, our students are having to make up 5 snow days...and they don't seem to care either.
By the way, love the rug in your family room!!!

  7. Isn't it c-c-cold? It's supposed to be in the teens tonight. We only got a few inches of snow, but it still caused quite a mess on the highways. I'm longing for Spring too... Stay warm!
