Sometimes I feel like I change my daughter's room around as often as I change my underwear?!?! (kidding)
She has so much stuff that I'm always trying to organize it so it doesn't look cluttered.
I've posted about her room on several occasions.
We look at the Pottery Barn Teen catalog every month. It's great eye candy for me her.
This is her latest favorite room from PB.
This is our version below.
I tried to recreate the PB room with her Target (mom assembled) bookshelves.
It's great storage that she can get to easily which makes her happy, and some of
it is actually hidden from sight which makes mom happy!
My fingers are crossed that this arrangement will last for awhile.

Thanks ladies for hosting such fun parties!
I wish my room had looked that good when I was a teenager. Love it.

I like YOUR version BEST!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by leaving me a comment and becoming a follower of my blog! I love your blog! I am becoming a follower and will add you to my blog list. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteI love your daughter's room! I think you did a great job matching the style and feel of PB without the price. PB always picks rooms with such beautiful windows and architectural details. They really are the masters at staging and selling their products.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute. Hope to see you at My Dream Canvas! Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI love your daughters room. I always wanted to do a picket fence headboard. Only my daughter had strong opinions and that wasn't what she wanted. She's not little anymore and she stil has those strong opinions. :o)
ReplyDeleteWe'll probably re-do her room this summer. She's 24 and her middle school taste has matured. It's been a while. Hopefully her taste will be something I can live with once she finishes her 2nd degree and moves out. haha.
Swoon! I love PB and your knock off is amazing! I'm having a big giveaway at my blog and would love for you to join me!! www.pinkxstitches.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I would have loved to have this room when I was younger....or maybe even now :)
ReplyDeleteThose catalogs are such great inspiration! Good job on your daughter's room!

i love your version better. it's less "straight outta the store." and the nice thing is, it's something she can grow into!
ReplyDeleteI love it Petie! It totally looks like PB only better because you didn't break the bank to get the look. :-) I'm sure your daughter is so pleased with it and it is the perfect combo of pretty and fun. Thanks so much for sharing it with us at Inspiration Friday this week!

What a beautiful room your daughter has! Oh, please tell her that I think HER room is even nicer than the Pottery Barn room. Way better! So much prettier. I love her 'cubbies' with the baskets - they look great, and I love baskets and containers like that. The two of you did a great job!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Gloria
What a great room! Could you adopt me, please?? I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love that you hid part by the bed! It looks very creative and very convenient!
ReplyDeleteI like your better! Great job--love the picket bed.
