I'm a woman on a mission.
Our kids don't start school until Sept 6th, but already the school supplies
are in the stores and the school supply lists are out.
I'll bet many of you will agree that at the end of every school year a ton of those supplies we purchased the previous summer come home alot a little dirtier, but with a lot of life left in them. Here's some of what I've accumulated walking around the house this morning.
This is what I'm about to use to make all this stuff look like new.
I'm sure there will still be plenty to buy, but I think it's worth a
shot to breath new life into some of these items.
I'm joining Wednesday's Penny Pinching Party at The Thrifty Home
Great idea! Happy cleaning and reusing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea- and what a great thing to model for your kids.

White Spray Paint
I did the same thing and ended up only having to buy a few new items!
ReplyDeleteHi Petie, You inspired me:) Reece and I went through and organized the art supply cabinet. We have more colored pencils than I know what to do with... how does that happen? Anyhoo, that is exactly what I did for their school supplies last year- separated the pencils into sets etc... Good luck!
